We were looking for a quick place to eat some snaky food and stopped at Hungama. Great choice, the food was bomb good. They made it super Indian spicy also. This really hit the stop since the weather is a bit cool. Would definitely recommend this place and well as coming back ourselves.

Excellent new restaurant just off Leicester square tube station. Excellent Indian street food, especially if you need Vada Pav in central London. Affordable and authentic in taste too. The staff were extremely welcoming and quick to serve and attend to.

This is excellent. Friendly, fast and absolutely fantastic food at a price that is hard to beat. I had the Lamb Bhuma and it was so tender and tasty it's unbelievable. Definitely a go to place when I'm the area.

The service was very good, and quick.
If we are in the area again during our stay in London, we will come again.
UPDATE: by popular demand, we came again three days later, on our last day in London. Again, a very good experience. We loved it!- Meal type

The Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji, Pani Puri, Papdi Chaat and samosas were spot on, fresh and perfectly spiced. The Paneer Makhani with garlic naan was rich and comforting, while the garlic chilli chips were a brilliant surprise – crispy and with just the right kick. It was a real treat to try something different, and I’ll definitely be stopping by again next time I’m in London 🫶- Meal type

Restaurant has limited seating since it is a smaller venue but still enough for a few families to be seated comfortably. Not a crazy vibrant atmosphere as the focus of the restaurant was serving good Indian street food, however it was still well lit and gave off a friendly and fun vibe with the Bollywood music playing in the background .- Food

Honestly, the food was average but since it's an Indian restaurant so wanted to support it being outside India. Scope of improvements though. Portion size was adequate but quality could have been more better. We had chinese bhel, samosas and pepper chicken. Chinese bhel was just average, samosas were below average and seemed like to have been come out directly from the fridge and served while chicken was average too. Though I repeat, the portion sizes were good according to the pricing point.- Meal type

We ordered two curries, one set of rice, and one set of naan, which was enough for three of us. The service was so good; Dharthi did a good job, and there was less waiting for food.- Food

Hungama Indian Street Food, London.
If you’re on the hunt for truly authentic Indian street food in London, Hungama Indian Street Food is an absolute hidden gem worth discovering. Tucked away yet full of bold flavours, this spot delivers an experience that’s both satisfying and refreshingly unpretentious.
Service: From the moment we arrived, the customer service was impeccable. A special mention goes to
Dharti, whose warmth, friendliness, and attentiveness stood out. She was incredibly helpful, always alert, and made the whole visit feel personal and welcoming — a rare quality that adds genuine charm to the dining experience.
Food: The menu shines with a focus on Gujarati-style flavours, offering a vibrant twist on classic North Indian street food. The paneer dish was a standout — beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection, bursting with authentic flavour. The onion bhaji had that home-cooked, fresh-from-the-fryer quality, served piping hot with a crispy texture that hit all the right notes.
Another highlight was the masala chips — perfectly crunchy, generously seasoned, and addictively good. Pair those with the gira soda, and you’ve got a combo that encapsulates the spice and refreshment of true Indian street fare. The samosas were impressively crispy and held their own compared to the many versions you find around London — no soggy bottoms here.
Portions are generous, offering great value for money, and prices are very reasonable given the quality and authenticity. On a sunny day, the outdoor seating is a bonus, making it a lovely casual spot to soak in the street food vibes.
Overall: Hungama is more than just another Indian food stop — it’s a flavourful journey with a soul. With excellent service, hearty portions, and authentic taste at its core, it’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again. There’s so much more on the menu to explore, and based on this visit, it promises to be just as impressive.- Meal type

Feels very authentic - most of the people eating or ordering were Indian. The food was a bit spicy but I think it’s because we have low spice tolerance. So again authentic! Otherwise very tasty. Would recommend.

Delicious authentic Indian street food, so difficult not to over order so I always end up with some items to take away. Loved the vada pav and lamb keema pav and the soft pillowy bread they came with. Went at a later date for some delicious butter chicken, cheese naan and puri.

You must order a pani puri whilst waiting for the rest of the food. It's refreshing and help opening your appetite! Chicken biriyani was delicious 😋 The yoghurt was carefully seasoned with jeera. Cashew nut curry was a first for me ! aromatic and hearty. (may contain nuts! Ha ha..) Thank you Chef for your lovely food.
